Seriously - I'm blown away. I remember during Paul's first term with Washburn in the Late 90's - the PS2000 USA was awesome but I was no too keen on the Korean made lower versions. I can't recall the exact model numbers. I think they might have been PS600 and PS400 ? Maybe.
Well, the one thing I have always strive to do with custom import projects with Washburn was to take a USA Washburn and really challenge the Asian factories to duplicate it, within reason. Washburn kinda did this on their own this time! The main differences between the PS2000 USA Custom Shop and this PS1800? Well there are not many. Ebony vs. Dark Rosewood. Mulitiply Binding vs. 1ply Binding. TonePros vs. Standard ABR style bridge. Seymour Duncan's vs Randall Ultra humbuckers. Oh yes - there is another difference. About 2000 dollars street price difference! No, I'm not kidding.
